The JBS Law Magnet will be returning to NFL competition this weekend. The team will be competing in the Lone Star NFL District hosted this year by Plano West High School.  The team will be leaving Townview at 3:00pm.

Go West Get Points!

The JBS Law Magnet once again finished the weekend with two Top 3 finishes.

Kelsey Annu-Essuman took top honors for the team by winning 2nd Place in Varsity LD, earning 6 additional TFA points and qualifying to state.  Emilio Lozano broke to Quarters and earned his first 2 TFA qualifying points.

Top honors in Varsity CX Debate go to Ivan Garcia and Rolando Velasquez who finished the weekend in 3rd Place and earned 4 TFA points. They too qualified to state with the weekend performance.

Kelsey, Ivan and Rolando are the first JBS Law Magnet debate team members of the to qualify to TFA State this year. Alex Delgado and Emilio Lozano both have 2 points in VLD.

The team will next compete at Naaman Forrest in Garland.
