Kat Caps Coppell with Qual
Katia Ramirez broke to semi-finals in LD Debate at the Coppell Classic this weekend. By doing so, she qualified to TFA State. This is Katia's first time qualifying to the TFA State tournament and she is the first JBS Law Magnet LD Debater to qualify to state this year.

Go West Get Points!
The JBS Law Magnet once again finished the weekend with two Top 3 finishes.
Kelsey Annu-Essuman took top honors for the team by winning 2nd Place in Varsity LD, earning 6 additional TFA points and qualifying to state. Emilio Lozano broke to Quarters and earned his first 2 TFA qualifying points.
Top honors in Varsity CX Debate go to Ivan Garcia and Rolando Velasquez who finished the weekend in 3rd Place and earned 4 TFA points. They too qualified to state with the weekend performance.

The team will next compete at Naaman Forrest in Garland.
